1999 Scholarship/Award Recipients

Mr. Marcus Jones

From Southern University, he has been selected to receive the Undergraduate Scholarship Award. He is a Junior, majoring in Biology with a 3.6 GPA. His plan is to go to graduate school and major in Environmental Toxicology.

Mr. Derek Cole

He is also attending Southern University, and has been selected to receive the Graduate Scholarship Award. He received a B.S. in Biology in 1996, and is currently pursuing a Masters' Degree Biology, with a 3.6 GPA. After graduation he plans to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Toxicology.

Mrs. Joan Adams
bullet
She was selected to receive the outstanding Registered Sanitarian Award. Joan began working as a Sanitarian in Terrebonne Parish on July 10, 1977. She became Chief Sanitarian in St. Mary Parish on September 15, 1980.
